🎶 RJAM Faculty Artist Series: Matt Wilson, Drums -- SFCM
🔆 SFCM's Faculty Artist Series brings their world-class faculty to the stage each season in performances of personally curated repertoire — a chance for the Bay Area community to experience the musical artistry behind the teaching.
Matt Wilson is one of today's most celebrated American jazz drummers, composers, and bandleaders, known for his joyous swing, spontaneous energy, and infectious humor. He is universally recognized for a musical, melodic drumming style, alongside his gifts as a composer, bandleader, producer, and teacher. His positive energy and sense of humor infuse every performance, and his restless creativity has led him to explore a remarkably broad range of musical settings during his career.
