How to participate:
Step 1: Discovery — Read a fic with at least one of the following tags:
Body Horror / Transformation / Psychological Horror / Corruption / Vampires / Werewolves / Monsters / Mind Control / Possession
Step 2: Discuss
Fic-focused topics
Who or what is the 'monster' in your fic? The antagonist? The hero? Neither? What exactly makes them so 'monstrous'?
Does your fic depict transformation? How? Why? Is the process frightening, liberating, or both?
Fandom-focused topics
What makes horror such a compelling genre for fan writers to experiment with?
For horror, what do you wish fic writers did more often? Less often?
