Hi Chiccies,
I know I say this every year, but where has the year gone! Here we are again and I'm organising Christmas lunch already! This year, I'm proposing a Lebanese restaurant in Parramatta called Baba Ghanouj. The place looks fabulous and perfect for a large Christmas group.
I'm suggesting the $79 p/p Tayta Banquet includes Kebbeh nayeh, Lebanese bread, olives and pickles, baba ghanouj, hommous, labneh, tabouleh and fattouch, batata b kezebra and arnabit meéleh, lamb sambousek, mansaf rice, shish tawouk, lahem meshwi, kafta, garlic dip and baklava.
Payment & Surcharges
Final bills may be split a maximum of two ways only. A 10% service charge applies to groups of 14 or more. So please bring cash + the $5 fee. Also I will no longer accept to pay for others, so please bring along the cash.
In addition this could be a great opportunity to catch the ferry to Parramatta Wharf from Circular Quay: The main city terminal where the F3 Parramatta River ferry service originates and departs.
Other ferry stops are
Barangaroo: A city-edge stop available along the F3 route shortly after leaving Circular Quay.
Milsons Point: An inner-harbour stop on the F3 route.
McMahons Point: Another inner-harbour stop serviced as the ferry heads upriver.
After lunch I am proposing to those who would like to, to visit the new Powerhouse Museum, which is directly opposite the restaurant and is open till 9PM.
I hope to see you there,
best wishes,
Norma
