🇮🇹 Hiking sul Vesuvio: alla scoperta del Gran Cono 🌋

Una mattinata all'aria aperta, tra natura, panorami spettacolari e nuove conoscenze!
Questa volta il gruppo Italian English Language Social and Cultural Exchange organizza un'escursione sul Monte Vesuvio, alla scoperta del suo famoso Gran Cono.
Ci incontreremo alle 9:30 presso il parcheggio del Vesuvio a quota 800 metri, lungo la strada provinciale SP144.
Da lì inizieremo la salita a piedi verso l'ingresso del Parco e proseguiremo lungo il sentiero del Gran Cono, fino a raggiungere il cratere.
Ci godremo il panorama, scatteremo qualche foto di gruppo e poi torneremo insieme al parcheggio.
Per concludere la mattinata, aperitivo panoramico per chi vorrà fermarsi, presso la Terrazza Due Golfi (locale da confermare).
🎒 Cosa portare

Scarpe da trekking o scarpe sportive adatte a camminare su terreno sterrato.
Acqua e uno snack.
Giacca antivento o felpa, perché in quota potrebbe fare fresco.
Voglia di camminare e trascorrere una bella mattinata insieme!

L'accesso al Gran Cono richiede un biglietto obbligatorio acquistabile esclusivamente online, con prenotazione di una fascia oraria.
Per evitare acquisti inutili in caso di maltempo, vi chiediamo di attendere la conferma degli organizzatori prima di acquistare il biglietto.

Consigliamo di attendere la conferma dell'evento prima di acquistare anche il parcheggio.
🌦️ Attenzione al meteo
L'escursione si svolgerà soltanto se le condizioni meteorologiche lo permetteranno.
In caso di maltempo, l'evento potrebbe essere annullato.
Cercheremo di comunicare una decisione definitiva entro giovedì 22 ottobre, così da permettere a tutti di organizzarsi e acquistare i biglietti.

Difficoltà: escursionistica, con tratti in salita su terreno vulcanico.

Join Italian English Language Social and Cultural Exchange for a morning of hiking, breathtaking views, and great company on one of Italy's most iconic volcanoes!
We'll meet at 9:30 AM at the Mount Vesuvius parking area (approximately 800 m elevation), along provincial road SP144.
From there, we'll walk uphill to the park entrance and follow the Great Cone trail to the crater, enjoying the spectacular views along the way.
After some group photos and time to enjoy the scenery, we'll head back down together.
To finish the morning, anyone interested can join us for an aperitivo with a panoramic view at Terrazza Due Golfi (venue to be confirmed).
🎒 What to bring

Hiking shoes or comfortable sports shoes suitable for uneven terrain.
Water and a small snack.
A light jacket or windbreaker, as temperatures can be cooler at higher elevations.

Access to the Great Cone requires an admission ticket purchased online in advance, with a reserved entry time.
To avoid unnecessary purchases in case of bad weather, please wait for confirmation from the organizers before buying your ticket.

🚗 Parking and transportation
Parking is paid and must also be booked online in advance.

We'll create a dedicated WhatsApp group to share updates, coordinate transportation, and help participants arrange carpooling.
If you have spare seats in your car, feel free to offer them. If you need a ride, you can coordinate directly with other participants.

🌦️ Weather conditions
The hike will only take place if weather conditions are suitable.
The event may be cancelled in case of bad weather.
We aim to confirm the event by Thursday, October 22, so everyone has time to plan and purchase tickets.
