A Saturday lunch outing for real-deal Peruvian food at San Fernando in Lynnwood. Peruvian regulars say it tastes like home. And this one is as hole-in-the-wall as they come.
The food
The star is pollo a la brasa, Peru's famous rotisserie chicken: marinated, slow-roasted until the skin is crisp, and served with fries, salad, and the house green sauce that people come back for. The rest of the menu is classic Peruvian comfort food:

Lomo saltado: beef stir-fried with onions, tomatoes and fries, served with rice
Papa rellena: a crispy fried potato stuffed with seasoned beef
Tallarín saltado and chaufa: Peruvian-Chinese noodles and fried rice
Ceviche for anyone who wants something lighter
To drink: Inca Kola, Peru's golden soda, and chicha morada, a sweet purple-corn drink

Portions are generous, so splitting a half chicken is a good move if you want to try a few things.
Dessert (optional)
After lunch, anyone with room left can head to Donut Factory, which is in the same building, a few steps away. It's one of the area's best-rated donut shops. They're open until 3 PM on Saturdays and prefer cards to cash.
Good to know

Six seats. A +1 counts as one of them, so please RSVP for both of you.
Coming solo is normal here, and most of the table will be.
Everyone orders for themselves. Plan on about $15–25 for lunch.
It's a small, casual, busy spot, so service can run a little slow on weekends. Settle in and enjoy the conversation.
Vegetarian options are limited, but they're happy to swap the meat for eggs or other substitutes.
I'll message everyone the morning of, and if you're running late, message me through Meetup.
If your plans change, please un-RSVP so someone on the waitlist can take the seat.

See you there!
— Vik
