Celebrate the Holidays and 40 Years of Kita no Taiko

Join us for an amazing dinner and listen to a performance and presentation by Kita No Taiko, Japanese Drumming!

Come celebrate the season with the Edmonton & District Historical Society over a holiday meal catered by The Sawmill, followed by an evening of stories, history and live taiko.

Kita no Taiko will join us to share stories from those 40 years, how the group began, how it has grown and the people and community that have carried it forward. Then we'll get to experience taiko the best way possible: Live!

Meeting Place
The event starts at 5:30 pm so let’s gather around 5:00 pm in the lobby for a quick meet and greet and find seating together.

To check out our events, newcomers pay a registration fee of $10, which includes a pass for 5 free events.
All current members and guests pay a drop-in fee of $2 per event per person.
For unlimited free events, an annual pass of $30 is available. That amounts to only $2.50 per month!!
