TV Club: Halloween Special 📺

TV Club is like a film or book club, but for television; a chance to get together, watch great shows, have a few pints and chat about what makes them work.

For our special Halloween meet-up, we'll watch a few episodes of “What We Do in the Shadows”, a TV series based on the film of the same name. This wonderfully twisted comedy follows a group of centuries-old vampires trying to navigate the challenges of modern life. Between ancient grudges, awkward encounters with humans, questionable household management and the occasional attempt at world domination, these bloodsuckers prove that immortality doesn't necessarily bring wisdom, dignity or even basic social skills.

Dress code: black; fangs optional. We'll provide Halloween decorations and treats.

The meet up will once again be at the Royal Oak pub in Clifton, in our own space on the 2nd floor with a big-screen TV. The kitchen will be closed that night, but you can bring your own food or pick up something to eat along with a few drinks from the bar while we watch. See you there!
