Let's talk about Gender

From an early age, gender shapes what others expect of us—and what we come to expect of ourselves. Join us for an afternoon of reflective conversations exploring how these expectations have impacted our lives, choices and understanding of the world. There are 8 question prompts to spark reflection and conversation, but the real magic is in gathering people who've opted in for meaningful chats. There are two 1-hour rounds in small groups of ~4 people each. We reshuffle groups after the first hour so everyone connects with a mix of people. Over the past year, more than 1,000 people have attended a Lekker Chats gathering in Cape Town. This is our 7th gathering in Joburg, and we're excited to build this community with you!
