Short ride to Mile Oak Farm

Meet at Worthing Pier to be ready to leave at 10:00.

We'll take the coastal cycleway, and cross Shoreham airport to the Shoreham wooden bridge. Please let me know if you'd like to join the group at 10.30 at the wooden bride \east side. We'll ride to Mile Oak Farm cafe via Shoreham and Southwick. After a break, we'll return to the pier via the Benefield valley path, Southwick, Shoreham and the coastal cycleway.

At Mile Oak Farm, you can enjoy excellent cheese straws and meet Esme the Emu.

\Not one of our easy starter rides You need to be prepared for a total of 130m/427ft of climb before, and immediately after, the break. Some climbs, although short, are very steep (max 9%). The route is all on road and is 22 miles in total (around 2.5 hours riding).

If you have a pump, puncture repair kit and a basic cycling tool kit, we recommend bringing them (just in case).

All participants are ultimately responsible for their own safety and wellbeing and should be aware that the medical/first aid provisions are no different than if they were riding on their own or informally with friends.
