Meetup at Britex, Sewcialize + Shop!

Come to Britex Fabrics, meet other sewists, sewcialize, and shop! Snacks will also be provided by Britex. All attendees will get 20% off regularly priced fabrics, excluding lace, leather, Liberty, and specialty fabrics. The store will be open just for us and you can shop until 2 pm! This San Francisco institution has been a sewing destination since 1952. You'll find fabrics from all over the world. We'll get an overview of their fabrics and Britex staff will be on hand to answer questions. You are welcome to submit questions when you RSVP. Feel free to wear something you made. If you’d like to find out where other sewists are from, please arrive on time or you will miss the introductions. Agenda 11–11:15 - Introductions - everyone will have a chance to introduce themselves. You can find out who is in your area/city. 11:15-12:15 - Brief overview of fabrics and Britex staff will answer questions, followed by group photo 12:15-2 - Sewcialize and shop! Getting to Britex: Public transportation: The store is less than two blocks from the Montgomery St. BART stop. Parking: There is metered street parking on Post.
