Malaysian Fried Chicken (Ayam Goreng) and Ramen

Ooink (FREMONT LOCATION) has Malysian Fried Chicken, Ayam Goreng. Not many places in the city have this dish, I've looked. Why not?

Taken from Wikipedia: Unlike Western fried chicken that uses a wheat flour batter, ayam goreng gets its rich flavor and yellow color from a spice and aromatic paste. The spice mixture varies by regions, but usually consists of a combination of ground shallot, garlic, Indian bay leaves, turmeric, lemongrass, tamarind juice, candlenut, galangal, salt, and sugar.

Besides Ayam Goreng, Ooink also features delicios ramens like the mapo tofu ramen and the mala black garlic ramen, both of which I've tried and enjoyed. Needless to say, this is my favorite Seattle Ramen Shop. Come join me in a delicious flavorful meal to start off the weekend.
