I am happy to introduce our next topic of discussion - Obscure and Misunderstood Spiritual Practices. A warm and vibrant community will welcome you to the event and I hope you can attend! This session will take place on August 25 at 18:45 - 20:45 at the Crowned Eagle Pub. Introduction to the topic - We all know of popular spiritual practices such as yoga, meditation, and religious prayer, which are popular in the mainstream media. But what about practices that defy the popular eye and even defy social norms? The spiritual world is a wide one and the occult is a deep rabbit hole, each filled with lesser known practices and ideas. Many would even claim that a certain set of these practices are "evil", but if we look closer at them, then they are simply misunderstood. So what do some of these practices look like? In this session, we try to explore this question across a wide variety of traditions and spiritual systems. In some cases, we will come across ideas from Sufism, Kabbalah, and hermeticism. In other cases, we will explore concepts from alchemy, eastern practices, and the shamanic world. There is a wide world to explore and everyone that comes can bring a piece of it to explore. The important part will be to shine a light on these practices and see their innate beauty while casting aside misunderstandings and fear surrounding them. I hope you can join us for this exciting opportunity. To celebrate such a unique session, a portion of this event will include the introduction of a specific Sufi word of protection that is used as a mantra to shield against negativity. Our agenda for this event is as follows: 1. Introductions (10-15 minutes) 2. Intro to to the topic (10-15 minutes) 3. Intro to the Sufi Word of Protection 4. Detailed discussion on the topic (60-70 minutes) 5. Closing and goodbyes (10-15 minutes) For those who wish to stay for after discussion drinks, they are more than welcome! I am looking forward to welcoming you all there. As usual, if there are any questions, please contact me by WhatsApp at +41798309119. Please note the guest limit for this is a maximum of 13 people due to seating limitations at the venue. I will not be able to accept more people after this.
