Haunted Canyon to Tony's Ranch

Lets hike Haunted Canyon to Toneys Ranch,

This is an out and back hike of approximately 13 miles with an elevation gain of approximately 700' It is rated moderate and it will be a few degrees cooler there than in the valley. I expect we can accomplish this in 4 to 6 hrs depending on the hikers in the group.

Expect to see some fall colors as the leaves change.
There are whitetail deer and bears in the area.
You can also expect alot of poison ivy so long pants and socks are advised.

We can stop in Superior for lunch after if desired.

Lets carpool from Bashas in Gold canyon Right by Jack in the box
To depart NLT 0600 AM.

Trailhead location is 7 miles from US 60 on FR 287 ( Pinto creek mine road) just east of Top of the world This portion of the trip is through an active mine on mine roads.
Distance to trailhead from Bashas is 50mi. Travel time about 1hr.
Be sure to bring water and nutrients to sustain you for 5 or 6 hrs of moderate outdoor activity, and your preferred means of protection from the terrain and the elements.
