Great Falls Hike

Join us for one of the best hikes in the DMV! Spectacular views of the Potomac River rapids with a fun rock scrambling hike. Starting point parking lot: https://maps.app.goo.gl/MtiHnjmLAXkLvxkH7 The total hike will be approximately 5.5 miles. We will meet at the free Carderock Parking Lot D then walk up to the Olmsted Island Overlook. Next we will hike on Billy Goat Trail Section A then return to the parking lot. Optional lunch afterwards. What to bring: Study shoes/boots and at least 2 liters of water Optional: Snacks, electrolytes, sunscreen, bug spray No dogs are allowed on Billy Goat Trail section A
