Claire is very kindly putting on a walk from Kirkoswald War Memorial (on right of photo above)
along Raven Beck far as Park Head then up to Nether Haresceugh and back down to the beck to the Fetherson Arms (on left of photo) CA10 1DQ in Kirkoswald for lunch.
The walk is an easy 5 miles, reasonably level with only a short part uphill. For those who want it, lunch is at the Fetherston Arms at 12.30. There is a limit of 10 places and they need a deposit of £10 for lunch.
If anyone doesn't fancy both the walk and the lunch it is possible to do just one or the other.
If you want lunch you will have to pay a £10 deposit by 4th October at the latest. DM Claire for payment details.
