NB: Date Changed for the next AWS Auckland Well-Architected Meetup for 2026!

Hi Architects,

Welcome to the next AWS Auckland Well Architected User Group Meetup of 2026!

At each meetup, we focus on learning and networking in a friendly and inclusive atmosphere and explore best-practices in AWS. This has resulted in the AWS Well-Architected Meetups becoming the most popular AWS Meetups in ANZ 🥳

Please also note that AWS Security now requests a company name and company email where it is available. If you are a student, please list your institution and your student email address at that institution 👍

We'll be announcing more speakers on https://well-architected.me/events and previewing presentations during the coming weeks - our speakers and details this month include:

Dinesh Sharma, AWS Regional Practice Lead, Datacom

Zero to Qazo: Building a Product with Kiro, AI & AWS

Qazo with a simple idea, using Kiro and AI to turn it into a real product, eventually deploying it on AWS. This session is about that journey — what worked, what didn't, the lessons learned from vibe coding and why everyone should try building something of their own to experience the full journey from idea → build → break → learn → deploy.

Mystery Speaker

Generative Al Cost Optimisation

Cost Optimisation is essential but with all the anecdotal stories of massive token budget blowouts, staying on top of Generative Al best-practices is essential to avoiding these scenarios.

This month's menu will include:

Pizzas
Beer
Wine: Big and red 🤤

So come join us at 5:30pm for a 6pm SHARP start, followed by beer, wine, pizza and networking after our talks :-)
