West Lake Skenonto Harriman Overnighter Camping

Howdy Blaze Nature Lovers. I'm looking to 1st time host an event, weather permitting here with Blaze! This past weekend's and coming week's weather cool down definitely sparks the vibes of some early fall camping. I'm spontaneously looking to throw together a simple non-beginner overnighter camping trip. This Friday 9/25 evening looks like the dry night out of the upcoming week. Last September our brother Dan O'Reilly hosted an overnighter to the west side of Lake Skenonto which I am hoping to camp at again. This will be a backcountry camping trip while overall easy not fully a beginner trip. I am planning to head up early after work Friday before sunset 6:50pm. I'm likely leaving West Harlem driving at 3pm. Open to Google Doc exploring drivers from the area too. Happy to discuss potential carpooling. The other option is taking NJ TRANSIT to Tuxedo Park. I will send out a transportation Doc to interested attendees Wednesday. NOTE: Hike with all your gear will range from 1.5+ to 3+ miles mixed terrain depending on what parking is available at the three trailheads. From the train station, the hike is roughly 3+ miles.
