TO THE SEA! Walk del Mar: "Straight" Cathedral-to-Port Wanderlust Challenge!

Come wander/wonder from the heart of the city to the heart of the sea! This 6K walk will take under 3 hours and burn you over 500 calories :) A perfect experience for introverts, expats & other fab misfits. The 10:00 AM start allows to get you to the waterfront in time for breezy lunch and your sun/bathing afternoon. We'll start at Plaza San Vicente Ferrer and proceed down Calle del Mar towards Puerta del Mar onto Puente del Mar (you get the idea!) and down Avenida de Puerto until we reach the port/sea. Along the way we'll follow Valencia's evolving relationship with the Mediterranean, its peoples, and their stories. This walkshop is free. The host may pass a hat at the end for welcome donations, but the point is to enjoy every step towards the sea. ABOUT THE HOST Alexey is a storyteller who has taught at Academy of Art University (San Francisco) and International Fashion Academy (Paris). Since 2023 he's been on the jury of CLEC Fashion Festival in the City of Arts and Sciences, a host of Book Lovers Unplugged literary open mic at the only English language bookstore in Valencia, and the producer of @StandUpComedyValencia shows. Most importantly, Alexey is a fulltime Gemini with ADHD.
