Kiro Nights

Kiro Nights: Build Your First App

⚠️ Important⚠️
Register your interest on Passembly to take part
Your Meetup RSVP alone is not enough. You also need to register for this event on Passembly: Register Interest Here

Your Passembly registration gives you the ticket and join code that unlock the workshop guide on the night. Without it, you won’t be able to access the workshop.
⚠️ Important⚠️

Never opened Kiro? Perfect! This night is for you. Bring your laptop and build a working web app from scratch.

No slides and no long talks. You follow a step-by-step guide at your own pace, and we’re in the room to help when you get stuck.

What to expect

Install Kiro and find your way around
Build the app and improve it step by step
Learn how to undo mistakes and try ideas without fear
Finished early? Keep going with extra modules on planning features properly, connecting to AWS, and setting project rules

Before you come

Install Kiro from kiro.dev so you’re ready to build when you arrive
Make sure you can sign in with a GitHub account, Google account or AWS Builder ID

Please note: this is a hands-on build night, so you’ll need your own laptop to take part. If you arrive without one, we unfortunately can’t let you in.
No experience needed. Come for the code, stay for the pizza and the people.
