Just before the grand Drums and bellows of the conch-shells echo across Delhi's Mini Bengal CR Park the rhythmic call of 'Agamoni' during 'Mahalaya' announces the homecoming of Maa Durga!

For Bengalis this moment is not just a ritual - it is an emotion, it's nostalgia and the true beginning of the Pujo's festive spirit!
Mahalaya marks the awakening of the Divine Goddess when chants of the legendary Mahishasuramardini-Chandi Paath reverberate at dawn bringing goosebumps and signalling the imminent arrival of the Mother Goddess!

Join our co-founder and a true-blue, Probashi Bengali Ramit Mitra as he takes you for a soul-stirring morning when the magical crescendo of the Agomani Chants fills the air and marks the festive calendar of Puja.....

Marvel at the fascinating artistry of the idol-makers the potter-sculptors who give final touches and life to the mighty Durga Idols as they draw the eyes!

Dance with joy to the beats of the drummers and musicians in the morning's ritual processions. Indulge in an authentic Bengali breakfast - Radhaballabhi Aloor dom and melt-in-mouth Kheerkodom {Bengali Goodies!!} and feel the nostalgia and joy that the Bengali community feels in every bite or turn and twist of the alleys and stories that Ramit will take you through!!

In our 12th year of curating this walk which is more than just a story-walk we bring to you Bangla culture, Durga Puja's Mythological connects and evolution of the celebrations in all its vibrant colours a preview of Pujo celebrations music lights and tradition.

So rouse the connoisseur of culture, the foodie or the photographer in you....soak up as the festivities begin and let your soul dance to the rhythm of a Bengali heart for a few hours...and we promise you will be back for more!
