ABOUT THE ADVENTURE
On this overcast afternoon, the meandering, mundane life in the village of Ravenhome seems as if it would go on in much the same way forever. It has been this way for as long as anyone can remember: the farmhands toiling in the orchards, busy householders cooking dinner and geezers rocking in their chairs, while the alderman paces knowingly around the Folkhearth and the children play in the tall barley. But things are not as they seem. On this overcast afternoon, out in the fields, a chill wind blows. Something moves in the barley, ancient and lumbering. Its heavy trudging as momentous as the footsteps of fate itself, its very appearance doomed to inexorably change the course of life in the Ravensdale, and of a handful of hearts in particular.
ABOUT THE SYSTEM
Legend in the Mist is a narrative roleplaying game with optional tactical features, that evokes the feeling of an old fireside tale. You gather your companions, journey through the countryside and wilderness, overcome dangers both natural and ancient, then have campfire conversations about what it all means. Rather than another D&D-clone, Legend in the Mist focuses on bringing story and gameplay together with each one of its features, from its simplicity at the table to built-in tools for developing personal story arcs for your characters that lead to dramatic moments of transformation.
GM: Matt
21+ years playing / 20+ years GMing
I’ve been a lover of ttrpgs since I learned what D&D was. I’ve been a game master as long as I’ve been playing (the forever GM curse, lol). While in the more recent landscape I’ve broken ties with Hasbro, I’ve found numerous other systems that I love far more and I’m striving to bring them to collective consciousness. I am a fun passionate and imaginative GM who loves the rule of cool and strongly encourages player agency in my games.
