Outdoor Football @ Braywick

A friendly kickabout, open to all levels. Different players each week. Newcomers welcome.

We book the pitch when we hit the minimum of 10 "yes" RSVPs, which we need to do by the day before. As we don't have a block booking we will do the followiing:
If we get 10-12 players then we will book one of the cages near the rugby club.
If we get 14-18 players we will book the half pitch behind the rugby club.
Based on that, we will cap the numbers to 12 or 18, depending on the numbers when booking the pitch.
please check notifications on the day as you may have RSVP'd but we might ask you not to turn up as there is no space for the pitch type.
Obviously, paymemt is only required by those who are selected to play.

The cost is usually £4-£8, depending how many sign up (£65 is the current booking price for the cages and £85 for the 1/2 pitch divided by the number of players)

DON'T BE LATE! We need to be there, changed and ready for kick-off at 9:00 PM. If the game is ever cancelled we will let those who have already RSVPd "yes" know.

TO FIND THE PITCH: Come in through the main entrance of Braywick Sports Ground, off Braywick Road. Take an immediate LEFT in front of the Toby Carvery Stafferton Lodge where the road forks (rather than turning right towards the main leisure centre). Follow the road round keeping the pitches on your right and you'll see car parking on your left. For bike racks continue to the end of the pitches and they're on your right. We're usually playing on the centre pitch.

PLEASE BRING:

• Suitable boots for the outdoor 3G pitches. Artificial grass (AG) football boots are strongly recommended as the best option for the surface. Full studs/blades designed for soft ground (SG) would be dangerous for you especially, as well as for others and the pitch. You could get away with wearing firm-ground (FG) or astroturf boots or even trainers for a while, but it won't help your game or your boots!

RSVP TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• Do please always RSVP to this event. If you do not RSVP and turn up there is a chance you can't play as the event is already fully booked!

• When you RSVP "Yes", we book a spot on the pitch for you. The organiser is charged for the pitch unless they cancel it at least 48 hours before the game.

• If you change your RSVP to "No" less than 48 hours before play or you are a "No Show" and nobody is able to take your spot, you will be asked to pay the price as if you took part.

BRINGING GUESTS:

Please note than you are more than welcome to bring a friend to play (but only if you add "+1" to your RSVP, so that we don't end up with too many players!). Any guest wanting to take part in any subsequent game will be requested to register with the group
