STORM All-Level Ride at OP Schnabel Park

\\ This is not a paved trail ride. We will ride all dirt trails. \\
(Rain or less optimal trail conditions will cancel the event.)

Meet at OP Schnabel Park (main pavilion by play area) at about 6:00pm, with wheels down at 6:30pm. All skill levels are welcome. This is a no-drop ride, meaning leads and sweeps will keep the group together to ensure everyone makes it back. It is a 10+ mile ride typically lasting 2-3 hours.

Required:

Trail-worthy mountain bike
Helmet
Closed-toe shoes
Water bottle or hydration pack
Lights (if it will be dark before the ride ends)

Recommended:

Sunglasses
Gloves
Sunscreen
Insect repellant

We will ride the OP Schnabel Park and Leon Creek Greenway dirt trails. The route may vary depending on the ride leader. Please bring a trail-worthy bike, helmet, snack, and plenty of water. If you have items to fix tire repairs or other bike mishaps, please bring them. We will try to keep stops to a minimum, depending on rider experience and knowledge of the trails.

Please indicate if you are willing to help as a sweep. A sweep stays in the back and helps make sure we do not leave any rider behind.
