Running your own thing? Come find your business friends :-)

A small meet-up for people in Bristol running something real of their own, a business, a freelance practice, a product you make and sell, or a service. It can be by yourself, with a partner, or in a small team. Whether you've got a few customers, lots of clients, or you're working toward your first, you'll be welcome! The idea is simple: you've got friends, but how many of them actually get what it's like to run your own thing? The stress of finding clients and customers, marketing, taxes(!), pricing, the product flop you're not sure is normal, but also the great bits, working on something you're excited about, winning new work, building a product that's going to help people. This is a room of people who get all of that because they're in it too. No pitching, no name badges (yet!) Just a small group of people running their own thing and trying their best, talking openly about what they're actually working on and what's currently getting in their way. A couple of hours later, you usually leave knowing you're not mad, not alone, and oddly motivated to go do the work. Not for: idea-stage browsing, big-vision networking, or selling to the room. Just people running real things, comparing real notes. Numbers will be limited, so it stays a proper conversation rather than a crowd for this round. Grab a spot if it's you.
