DELTA - Nordel, The Bog Alternate Route

Walk 5k or 10k Trail rating 2A/2B There are four routes: The "Bog" walk proceeds through residential areas to the famous peat "Burns Bog" Conservation Area which contains intriguing ground cover and growth while being home to a variety of wildlife. The Nordel Street walk proceeds through residential areas, schools and park land. The third route is called Shirley's walk, along North Delta Greenway. The fourth route requires participants to register and drive to the start, which goes along the “Burns Bog” Conservation area and has few residential roads. 5 and 6k routes are available. Washrooms at start point. Please Note: although numbers may appear low on this page, be assured you will be with club members who have not signed up here. Come Walk With Us, you will have lots of company. \\ Registration is from 9:30 am to 9:45 am. You MUST register by 9:45 am at the start point before commencing the walk. Walks begin promptly at 10:00 am. Please allow time to park and find our group. Look for us; we are wearing red. The first 5 walks are free. After that, you may choose to join our club.
