🌿 Sometimes the best hidden gems aren't actually hidden. We just never slow down enough to notice them. You've probably driven down Old Cutler Road dozens of times for work, errands, or just getting around South Florida. But have you ever slowed down enough to walk it and see what's hiding along the way? 🌳✨ Join us as we experience the Old Cutler Road Urban Trail from a completely different perspective! If offers an upscale shaded path keeping us kind of safe from the sun and heat 🥵 We'll meet at Matheson Hammock Park, at the parking lot next to the Coral Rock Shelter — the first parking lot on your left after entering the park. From there, we walk Old Cutler Road north to Ingraham Park, take a break to enjoy the surroundings, and then walk back together to Matheson Hammock Park. 🥾 The Walk: Approximately 4 miles round trip (2 miles going up, then 2 miles going down) About 2–3 hours, including breaks, and taking photos Relaxed, social pace — this is not a race! 💡The idea is simple: walk, explore, meet new people, and experience a familiar part of South Florida in a way most of us never do.💡 🎒 What to bring : 💧 Water ☀️ Sunscreen 🦟 Bug repellent 👟 Comfortable walking shoes 📱 Your phone — there should be some great photo opportunities 😎 A good attitude and some curiosity!
