Central Coast Falconry Fundamentals for Aspiring Apprentices

If you have ever been curious about the ancient art of falconry and what it actually takes to get started, this gathering is for you. We are hosting a session on the fundamentals of apprenticeship here on the Central Coast, designed specifically for those who are in the early stages of researching the craft or preparing to commit to the licensing process. We will cover the basic requirements, the time commitment involved, and the realities of working with raptors, moving past the romanticized version of the sport to talk about the day-to-day responsibilities.

This is a space to ask questions, meet others who are currently navigating the path toward sponsorship, and get a better sense of whether this is the right pursuit for your lifestyle. Whether you are still deciding if you want to pursue a license or you are already actively looking for a mentor, this is a great opportunity to connect with local folks who share an interest in birds of prey. We will keep things informal and focus on honest conversation about the apprenticeship journey.

Please let us know if you can make it by updating your status on the event page. It helps us plan for the space, and it is always great to get a head count so we can make sure everyone gets a chance to join the conversation.
