Sunday Coastal Walk: Koivusaari to Haukilahti

A bit of a last-minute Sunday plan, but the weather is looking too good not to make the most of it 🌞 This time we’re heading west from Koivusaari for an easy coastal walk towards Haukilahti. We’ll pass through Hanasaari and Karhusaari, then continue along Espoo’s Rantaraitti with plenty of sea views along the way. The route is around 7 km and we’ll keep a relaxed social pace, with a couple of short stops along the way. We’ll finish at Café Mellsten, where anyone who wants can stay for coffee or food on their seaside terrace overlooking the water and pier. Sunday, 20 September Starting time: 12:00 Meeting point: Koivusaari Metro Station Finish: Café Mellsten, Haukilahti Distance: approx. 7 km Walking time: around 2–2.5 hours including stops Wear comfortable shoes and dress according to the weather.
