Now, I have a rather simple proposition. A little journey in the woods, a modest bit of danger, and a quite handsome reward in gold. Eh, handsome like myself, that is. Nothing particularly troublesome, I assure you. Certainly nothing like that unfortunate business with the last group I sent out, those terrible villains... but I digress!"

They set off some time ago to investigate reports of strange wolves and an unnatural mist creeping through the countryside. Never returned, I'm afraid. Not a single one. Oh, there have been rumors, of course. Travelers whisper of a distant land where the sun rarely shines, the dead walk, and a terrible castle looms over a forgotten valley. Utter nonsense, naturally! Ha! Though I must confess, I occasionally wonder what became of the poor devils. But enough about them! We're discussing your adventure!"
