What truly sets The Acorn apart is its unwavering commitment to a 100% locavore, seed-to-stalk philosophy. Working directly with organic farmers and foragers, an incredible 99% of what hits your plate—and even your cocktail—is grown or harvested right here in British Columbia and Western Canada. In their zero-waste kitchen, things like stems, skins, and pits are brilliantly repurposed into complex sauces, oils, and garnishes, meaning every single ingredient is celebrated to its fullest potential.

RESTAURANT RESERVATION POLICY:

My credit card is used to hold a reservation.
If you cancel under 48 hours or are a no-show the restaurant charges my credit card $25.

Your Commitment To Attend:

Immediately after signing up to attend, your seat will be confirmed only after you etransfer a $25 commitment deposit
You cannot sign up and hold a spot while deciding to attend or not

Your Cancellation

If you cancel under 48 hours your $25 deposit is not refundable,
If you cancel anytime for any reason up to 48 hours $10 is not refundable and you'll get an etransfer for $15.
Many meetup events typically have a 50% to 70% cancellation rate including cancellations under 24 hours which I aim to reduce or eliminate

Host Cancellation:

Minimum 5 members required attendance or this social event MAY be canceled or resceduled.
If I cancel or reschedule the event, your deposit will be fully refunded.
