Sloan’s Lake Park is located on the northwest side of Denver next to Lakewood, Edgewater, and Wheat Ridge. It’s the perfect loop for an exciting Glow-in-the-Dark Dance Walk around the lake!
🎃 Calling all ghosts, goblins, disco queens, dancing skeletons, and Halloween lovers! We're bringing the spooky season to Sloan’s Lake with a Halloween Glow-in-the-Dark Dance Walk! Get ready for a night of music, movement, laughter, and a little Halloween magic as we dance our way around the lake!
🪩 The Music: Spooky Hits Across the Decades!
From the Monster Mash and Thriller to Ghostbusters, Somebody's Watching Me, and all your favorite Halloween dance anthems, we're mixing spooky classics, throwback hits, and feel-good music from every decade! Have a favorite Halloween song? Drop your requests in the comments! 🎶
👻 Costumes Encouraged, But Never Required!
Come dressed as your favorite Halloween character, rock a fun wig, throw on some glow sticks, or just show up as yourself! We love costumes, but please make sure you can comfortably walk and dance in whatever you wear. We'll bring the music and some glow goodies. You bring your Halloween spirit!
🧡 Family-Friendly Fun for EVERYONE!
This isn't a race, a workout competition, or a traditional Halloween party. It's a relaxed, fun, community dance walk where people of all ages can come together, enjoy great music, get moving, and make new friends. We especially encourage families with children, seniors, and people with disabilities who are comfortable completing approximately 2.5 miles to join us. Our goal is simple: Bring people together through music, movement, and community! Everyone deserves a place to belong, and there's always room for one more dancing skeleton in our crew.
✨ What to Expect
We'll gather at Sloan’s Lake, get everyone glowing, turn up the Halloween tunes, and make our way around the paved 2.54-mile loop. Expect plenty of laughs, costumes, spooky songs, glowing accessories, and good vibes! This is a family-friendly, alcohol-free community event.
