Cooking Night: Peru x South Africa 🍲 (Sprachmut x ÜdT x VAMOS)

Let's cook together! On October 28 we team up with Über den Tellerrand (ÜdT) and VAMOS for a shared cooking evening with volunteers from Peru and South Africa, who are doing their voluntary year (FSJ) here in Germany. We cook Peruvian and South African dishes together, eat together, and get to know each other.

This is a social event. You can speak German if you want to practice, or just enjoy the cooking and the people. Either is completely fine.

🗓 The basics:

🕕 Wednesday, October 28, from 18:00 (we cook, eat and chat until about 21:30, then we clean up together)
📍 Erzdiözese Freiburg, Okenstraße 15
🍲 Peruvian and South African dishes, planned together with the volunteers
🌍 People from all around the world, all languages welcome

✅ What to expect:

👥 A mixed group of volunteers, locals and internationals (space for about 40 people)
👩‍🍳 Everyone cooks together. The volunteers present their dishes first, then we get started with a clear time plan
🗣 Casual German practice if you're up for it, zero pressure if not
💶 Free to join, but registration here on Meetup is required because spots are limited
💛 A warm, relaxed atmosphere
