Icebreaker 50 - Pair Edition: Meaningful Conversations

Does meeting groups of new people feel overwhelming? Do you enjoy deeper one-on-one conversations but still wish you could meet more than just one or two people in an evening? Do you sometimes find yourself stuck in the same chat all night, not sure how to politely move on?

If your answer is YES to some of the above, then this event is for you.

Instead of the small group format, this evening, you will be broken into pairs, where we engage in conversations with one another. The pairs switch every 20 minutes, giving you both enough time to dive deeper into a conversation and the chance to meet several people throughout the evening.

I aim for 20 participants, but the exact number may vary depending on attendance (last-minute no-shows happen — thanks for understanding!).

Prompt cards will be provided. You don't need to use them, but they are there when you need some inspirations. A sneak peek on the prompts:

1. What's your guilty pleasure?
2. Would you rather be slightly late or super early?
3. How did you meet your best friend?
4. What do you regret not doing when you were younger?
5. What's something you disagree with about the way you were raised?
6. If you could switch places with your friends for a day, who would it be?
7. What one accomplishment are you most proud of?

Contribution: €10 donation, cash or PayPal, upon arrival.
Paying in advance via PayPal, if possible, helps keep things smooth at the start of the event. All proceeds support room rental.

Photography
Photos may be taken during the event for documentation and community sharing (event page). If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform me before the event begins. This will be fully respected.

Community & event etiquette
This space works best when everyone who signs up shows up. Please be mindful when you RSVP — your spot could mean a lot to someone who is keen to join. If your plans change, please update your RSVP at least 12 hours before. Last-minute cancellations (under 6 hours) are noted as no-shows, which may affect future sign-ups. If something unexpected comes up, just drop me a message.

Boundaries
This is not a space for promoting or selling products or services. Participants who do so will be asked to leave and removed from the group.

These boundaries are in place to protect the quality, safety, and integrity of the experience.
