New York Times Food section reporter, Mellissa Clark is our next cookbook author. The book is Dinner in One: Exceptional & Easy One-Pan Meals. This was chosen as it builds upon a suggestion from the group, sheet pan dinners. This has sheet pan dinners. And then it expands on that idea with one skillet dishes and one-pot pasta. It moves on to the workhorse of winter kitchens, the Dutch oven meals, the generational casseroles. and for those who love them; things to cake in instapots. And because we want to experience a full meal, we have one-bowl cakes. Choose your single source of cooking. These 100 dishes cover the full range from vegan, to vegetarian, to free-range chickens, and other animals. One pan, pot, or bowl means less cleanup and more meet up! This will be the first time that we've used the Carriage House space at Endicott Park. It was a summer home to Joseph Peabody, back in the early 1800s. It was in the family until 1961. The city of Danvers purchased the land to preserve it. SOME THINGS TO KNOW: There is a bathroom But there is no kitchen (which is why we thought one-pan meals was a great fit) There will be a bin to put leftover food, but no sink to clean your plate. We would recommend something to put your dirty dish and silverware in to bring home.
