Spanish Conversation Meetup (New Paltz)

Bonjour à tous !

Please RSVP and join us for our next meetup in New Paltz!

For anyone new to the group: These meetups consist of informal conversation, mostly in French, occasionally English when we get stuck. All levels are welcome. Meetings are free, but donations are welcome to help offset the cost of a Meetup organizer account and some miscellaneous items we need for meetings (signs, printing, etc.). And please order something to help the restaurant for hosting us!

Nous espérons vous y voir !

RSVP: Even if you're a regular, and even if you're not 100% sure you can make it, please RSVP here and adjust your RSVP if you can't attend. This way we know how many to expect and can arrange accordingly with the venue. This also lets other people thinking about coming see that there will be plenty of people to chat with. Also this lets you rate the event afterward. We currently have just 4.8 stars and really want to get to 4.9! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Parking: Paid parking ends at 6 p.m. There are two lots on Plattekill Ave near the restaurants; one just behind and another down a bit by village hall/department of public works. For street parking, Plattekill Ave, Main St, Route 32N (North Chestnut Street) or Church Street are good places to look.

Etiquette note: During our French discussions, please don’t correct others unless someone specifically asks for help. This allows people of all levels to feel more comfortable speaking. Merci d'avance !

Instagram: Check out our Instagram account. We'll post the same announcements as Meetup, plus other French language and culture content.

Hablas español? If you want to practice Spanish, we will be meeting joining with our sister group, the Hudson Valley Spanish Meetup! Just stop by the Spanish table to say hola...
