I'm Leilah, an internationally award winning belly dancer and instructor, and I teach weekly at Pineapple Studios. In this masterclass I'll take you through Saidi properly, from the very first twirl of the cane to a full choreography of your own.

🌟 Cane technique from scratch: how to hold, swing and twirl the assaya
🌟 The signature Saidi moves and steps
🌟 A full Saidi choreography by the end of the afternoon

Who it's for
Everyone! Total beginners are so welcome, and if you've been dancing for a while you'll still come away with new technique and a fresh choreography. No partner or experience needed.

What to bring
Comfy clothes you can move in, water, and a cane if you have one (if not, you can buy one there). Barefoot, socks or soft dance shoes are all fine.
