Farnham Fireworks & Torchlit Procession – Saturday 7th November 🔥

Come and join us for a fun evening at the Farnham Fireworks!

🎟️ Tickets need to be bought in advance — there are no tickets available on the gate.

Early-bird tickets are available online for £8. Buy yours early before the price increases: https://farnhamfireworks.com/

🍻 4pm – Meet at the Teller’s Arms

We’ll meet at the pub from 4pm. If you want some food, come along for 4.

If you are a new member, please message me to let me know if you will join us for food so I can make sure I book a big enough table.

Or join us a little later if you just want to have a drink and catch up.

🔥 Around 5:45pm – Head to the procession

We’ll leave the pub around 5:45pm if we’re carrying a torch, or a little earlier if needed, so we can get to Waggon Yard in time for the 6pm torchlit procession. If you want to take part in the procession with a flaming torch, these need to be bought in advance and are limited.

🚶 6pm – Torchlit procession

The procession heads from Waggon Yard, up Castle Street and into Farnham Park.

🎵 Once we’re in the park, there will be:

Live music on the main stage
Taiko drummers
Fire performers
The bonfire and Guy competition judging at around 7:15pm
Food stalls serving hot food, including burgers, sausages and Thai food
A bar serving local beer, mulled wine, soft drinks and hot drinks

🎆 7:45pm – Fireworks

The fireworks last around 15 minutes, followed by another set from the live band.

🕘 The event finishes around 9pm.

A few things to bear in mind:

🧥 Dress warmly, as we’ll be outside for several hours.

🥾 Wear warm, sensible footwear and be prepared for mud. Farnham Park is mainly grass and can get very muddy, especially if the weather has been wet.

🚗 If you’re driving, there is no event parking in the park, and Waggon Yard will be closed for the procession. You can look for street parking or use Central Car Park, which is around £5.40 for four hours. Please check the current tariff when you park. Alternatively, there are other town-centre car parks available.

You’re welcome to join us for any part of the evening, or come along for the whole event. Please bear in mind that mobile phone signal and internet access may be limited in the park, so it may be difficult to contact people once we’re there. It’s a good idea to reach out and arrange a meeting point in advance.
