4 to 5 mile moderate pace walk around Laurel Springs and along Laurel Lake. The walk will take us to The Whitman-Stafford Farmhouse, Walt Whitman’s summer home from 1876 to 1881. Come meet Walt Whitman and walk through the open house. Meet at Beech Ave. and Lakeview Ave. parking is limited in the area. Allow time to walk to the starting point. There are no bathrooms at the start, maybe along the way. Stop before you come. Jim 856-332-5697 text work better.
