Join Get A Social Life for a relaxed and friendly 3-course social dinner, perfect for anyone who enjoys good food, good conversation and meeting new people.
Many people attending our events come on their own, so please don’t worry if you don’t have anyone to come with — you certainly won’t be the only solo guest.
Come along, step out of your comfort zone, meet some new people and enjoy a lovely Friday evening together.

EVENING ITINERARY

7:00pm – Arrival, Welcome Drink & Introductions
Arrive, collect your welcome drink and meet your host and fellow guests. We’ll start with some relaxed introductions to help everyone settle in and get chatting.
7:30pm – Dinner Begins
Take your seats and enjoy your starter while getting to know the people around your table.
8:15pm – Main Course
Enjoy your main course with plenty of time for conversation, laughter and making new connections.
9:15pm – Dessert
Finish your meal with dessert while continuing to chat and socialise.
10:00pm – Drinks, Music & Socialising
After dinner, there’s no need to rush off. Grab another drink from the bar, mingle with the group and enjoy some background music while getting to know more people.
11:00pm – Evening Finishes

PERFECT FOR SOLOS, FRIENDS & COUPLES

Don’t worry if you don’t have anyone to come with.
Our events are very welcoming to solo guests and the majority of people attending our social events come on their own.
There’s no awkward walking into a restaurant and sitting by yourself. This is a hosted evening where everyone is there to socialise, enjoy themselves and hopefully make some new connections.
Come as strangers, leave having made new connections.

IMPORTANT – YOUR MEAL MUST BE PRE-ORDERED

All meals must be pre-ordered at least 7 days before the event.
The pub is currently serving its summer menu. As our Get A Social Life dinner takes place in November, the summer menu will be replaced by the pub’s autumn/winter menu before our event.
The dishes listed below are therefore examples of the type of food currently served at The Great North Wood Pub and are not the confirmed November menu.

LIMITED SPACES – BOOK EARLY

We have a limited number of places available.
Because of the size and layout of the upstairs dining space, once all the seats have been booked, we will not be able to simply add extra places.
Please book early to avoid disappointment.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled. Any applicable booking fees are non-refundable.
