Let’s watch “WILD HORSE NINE” @ Landmark + dinner, drinks, discussion

Martin McDonagh’s new black comedy: two CIA agents, Easter Island, and the eve of the 1973 Chilean coup.
Join us for Wild Horse Nine, the latest from the writer-director of In Bruges and The Banshees of Inisherin, which premiered in competition at Venice this year.
Sam Rockwell and John Malkovich play longtime CIA partners sent from Santiago to Easter Island just before the coup. Surrounded by the island’s great stone statues, they have to face their dark pasts and present conspiracies, while Malkovich’s character grows close to two rebellious young students who threaten to derail the mission. With Steve Buscemi, Parker Posey, and Tom Waits.
Expect McDonagh’s signature mix of dark comedy and moral weight, this time aimed at American intervention in Latin America. Plenty to talk about afterward.
