FRIDAY WALK: A DOWNLAND CIRCULAR (c.5.5m)

Hi all. This circular walk takes us across the Downs, avoiding mud and stiles. It is moderately hilly but not challenging. The weather forecast is currently mixed and this route gives us options to shorten the walk if needed.

Coffee and cakes at the Golf Club at the end of the walk for anyone who can linger.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome, on lead around livestock.

We start the walk at the Eastbourne Downs Golf Club where we can park for free. From Eastbourne, the car park is on your right as you head up the hill, just after the YHA, satnav BN20 8ES. From Seaford follow the East Dean Road towards Eastbourne town centre and the golf club is on your left. The no. 12 bus stops there.
