Approximately seven miles under the pale November sun through historic Double Trouble State Park. Moderate to brisk pace, easy terrain. Maybe no frogs, but hopefully some swans.
We'll start with a half-mile stroll to the Mill Pond Dam, then work our way around to the Cedar Brook Trail. After that we'll head south to the sylvan sanctuary of Sworden's Pond. Then it's off to a scenic overlook of Cedar Creek.
Bring plenty to drink. We'll take a short lunch break if the weather is decent.
Be sure to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to use the bathroom, sign in, and hear the safety talk. We will leave on time.
