Emotional Intelligence

A three-week course on emotions, awareness & how we respond

Emotions are a natural part of being human. They shape how we relate to ourselves and others, influence our decisions, and can sometimes leave us reacting in ways we later wish we had handled differently.

About the Event

How we relate to our emotions has a profound impact on our happiness, relationships and everyday life.

This interactive three-week course explores Emotional Intelligence from a Buddhist perspective, offering practical tools such as meditation, self-awareness and self-regulation for understanding and working skilfully with our emotional world.
Rather than being controlled by disturbing emotions, we can learn to recognise our emotional patterns, meet them with awareness and wisdom, creating more space for calmness, kindness and choice.
Across three Wednesday evenings, we will explore how developing emotional intelligence can help us respond to difficult emotions with greater clarity and balance, cultivate stability and resilience to our personal, interpersonal and professional lives.
A practical and experiential course for anyone interested in understanding their emotions and developing a more balanced and compassionate way of relating to themselves and others.

Your Teacher

Venerable Khadro brings years of experience teaching Buddhist philosophy and meditation in the tradition of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Her clear and practical approach makes profound teachings accessible and relevant to everyday life.
