Discoverer how and why animals were brought to market at Smithfield from all over the country. Along the way discover how Islington developed from a tiny hamlet of 15 people in the doomsday book of 1086. Lookout for cattle troughs, drovers ale houses, turnpikes and many more.
We end our walk where the drovers ended their journey at Smithfieldield meat market.
£10 cash or card. Pleased turn up on time. I willl be there in all weather warning my tour guides lanyard.
