Book Club 2: Convenience Store Woman

For our next meeting, we’ll be reading Convenience Store Woman by Sayaka Murata.

It follows Keiko, who has worked at the same convenience store in Tokyo for years and is perfectly happy with the routine, even if everyone around her thinks she should want something different.

It’s a short, quirky read with lots to talk about around work, fitting in, and what people consider a “normal” life.

Come ready to share your thoughts!

The location is TBD and will be posted closer to the date.
