NEW Educational Hike: Learn more about the Preserve and the Conservancy: trailheads, trails, geology, flora and more. This hike will benefit visitors, those fairly new to the Preserve trails, as well as those that just want to learn more. Experienced Stewards will present a variety of topics at short stops along the hike.
This Moderate to Difficult hike will be about 7 miles but the pace will be moderate, taking about 3+ hours, with stops for short talks. We will cover 6 or 7 trails as we highlight various aspects of the Preserve.
The hike is labelled as Difficult due to the mileage, but the pace will be moderate with frequent stops for discussions.
Restrooms and water available at the trailhead. Bring water and snacks. No dogs please. Arrive 15 minutes before the start of the hike.
