Join us for an afternoon of co-ed kickball at Garvey Ranch Park where we’ll bring back that nostalgic schoolyard game in the best way possible: fun, social, easygoing, and open to all skill levels. If you’ve been craving outdoor time with fun people and a bit of friendly chaos, this is it. We’re calling on those in their late 20s to early 40s who want to break a sweat, make new connections, and kick the ball like it’s 1999. This isn’t a serious league or a high-stakes tournament—this is for people who want to run, laugh, and relive the magic of kickball from back in the day. We’ll go over simple rules, form fair teams, and rotate through games. You don’t need to be an athlete—just come with a good attitude and be ready to have fun. Important note: We need at least 12 confirmed players for this event to run smoothly. If we don’t meet this number by Thursday, September 24 at 2:00 PM we’ll have to cancel. Please RSVP early and spread the word if you know someone who’d love this. ✅ What to bring: Water Comfortable athletic clothing Sunscreen Field-safe shoes (cleats OK if permitted by the park) ⛱ Volunteers Needed: We need 2 people to bring 10x10 canopy tents to provide shade. Garvey Ranch Park rules strictly limit canopies to 10’x10’ only—please message if you’re able to bring one. 🙌 Expectations: Respect, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude are the foundation of this event. Whether you’re scoring runs or just enjoying the atmosphere, everyone should feel welcome and encouraged.
