KAWS Session 5 (All Skill Levels) @ Ukyo Gym 10/22 7-9PM

This session is especially for BEGINNERS, though INTERMEDIATE and ADVANCED players are welcome to join as well. One court only.

Everyone’s welcome—Japanese, international residents, or just visitors to Kyoto! 🇯🇵🌏 We’ll mostly speak English, but we’ll definitely try to practice our Japanese too.

We’ll play doubles for 1 hour and 50 minutes, with the remaining 10 minutes for packing up and cleaning the court. Only 10-12 players can join this session. We’ll rotate games up to 21 points. Let's have fun and bring our best energy! 💪🏸

What to bring:

🏸 Your own racket(s)
🥤 Drinks/Water
🧴 Towel
👟 Non-marking indoor shoes

Shuttlecocks will be provided by the organizer. No eating inside the gym. The organizer is not responsible for injuries—play at your own risk.

💴 Cost:
Base fee: ¥300 for court and equipment rental
Shuttlecocks: shared equally among participants
Estimated total: ¥500/person
The fee may increase slightly depending on the final number of participants and the number of shuttlecocks used during the session. The organizer’s participation fee is waived to help cover the time, effort, and miscellaneous expenses involved in organizing the event, such as transportation costs for purchasing shuttlecocks and other supplies. Thanks for your understanding and support!

Please bring the exact amount and pay the organizer after the session.

⚠️ Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel, please do so at least 5 hours before the game starts to give waitlisted players enough time to prepare and confirm their participation. Thank you for your understanding!
