Meet Time: 10:00 AM
Meet Location: Centennial Park, 701 County Rd K, Hartland, WI
Parking: Meet in the Centennial Park parking lot. We will carpool to Foxwood Drive and County Highway KE, where our hike will begin.
Join us for a scenic 7-mile fall hike through the Hartland area, following a variety of dirt paths and paved trails as we make our way back to Centennial Park.
Our route will include the mostly flat White Loop off Cottonwood Avenue, as well as the hillier White Loop in Penbrook Park. With a mixture of level stretches and rolling terrain, this hike offers some variety and a few challenges along the way.
Late October should be a lovely time to enjoy the trails, with the last of the autumn colors and the crisp air that makes fall hiking so enjoyable.
Distance: Approximately 7 miles
Terrain: Dirt paths and paved trails, with some hilly sections.
Restrooms: Bathrooms at Centennial Park may not be open. There is a gas station at the corner of Merton Avenue and County Highway K (N55 W29411 Hwy K), approximately 0.2 miles east of the park, for anyone needing a restroom stop before the hike.
Hike Leader: Carol
Bring water, wear comfortable hiking shoes, and dress for the late-October weather. Come enjoy a good stretch of trail, some hills to keep things interesting, and another beautiful fall morning with fellow hikers!
