Plan is to gather at the East Gate Coffee Bar (Inverleith Row entrance) and then have a gentle stroll to the Palm Houses.

Afterwards we can have another stroll in the botanics and then make our way to The Orchard (5 to 10 mins walk). Sunday Roasts of Beef, Lamb and Chicken are available along with many other menu choices. The table is booked from 4pm for 2 hours. I will need a pre order for Sunday Roasts nearer the time to guarantee availability. Full menu

Accessibility - Accessible routes to the Palm Houses are available from both the East and West Gates via tarmac pathways. The Palm Houses themselves are accessed by ramps and paved surfaces, providing step‑free entry throughout the visitor areas.

Wheelchairs and motorised mobility scooters are free and available to pre‑book by email or phone - [email protected], or calling 0131 248 2909. and can be collected from either the East Gate or the John Hope Gateway Visitor Centre.
